West Middle School is one of four middle schools in the Nampa School
District. Our students live in the heart of
the city of Nampa.
Thanks to the opening of a new middle school this year we have lowered student
numbers at West from the past. Around
745 students are attending West
Middle School this year.
The majority of students that attend West will
progress to Nampa
High School for grades
9-12. Students that attend elementary
school at Central Elementary, Centennial Elementary, and Sherman Elementary
along with some students from Franklin Roosevelt Elementary will attend West Middle
School for grades 6-8.
West is located on Midland
Boulevard between Lone Star Road and Roosevelt Road. Behind our school is a large city park, West Park,
with a softball complex, playground, and jogging path. To learn more about the boundaries of our
school, click here. This year a
track and football field were added to our campus. They are a great addition for our students
and the community that surround West.
West is focused on reaching out to our community through service
projects. The Leo Club, a division of
the Lion’s Club, has over 40 student members this school year. They work in conjunction with Lion’s Club
members to promote service learning and community support.
O’ Ambassadors is another club with strong student membership reaching
out to the community to provide support and to make it a better place. They are involved in fund raising for an
overseas trip to China.
West welcomes community members to become involved in our school. If you are interested in volunteering or
offering other support please contact the school office, (208) 468-4750.
