Math Teacher Head Football Coach
Mr. Young is currently serving his 12th year as a teacher. He has taught classes ranging from Chemistry, Algebra 1 & 2, to Plato and Varsity Athletics during this time. He has also coached football for 15 years and track for 10 years. “Working with people is one of my passions. The relationships that are formed are priceless.” Mr. Young is married to Gayle, his wife of 10 years. They have three children, Brady, Camden, and Jacie.

The 2009-2010 school year is my third year teaching at Skyview High School. I'm originally from Springfield , Oregon and graduated from the University of Oregon. After completing school, I decided that I needed a change of scenery. So, I gladly accepted when given the opportunity to live and work here in the Treasure Valley. In July, I returned home and got married on the University of Oregon's campus. My wife, Leslie, teaches English over at Nampa High School. We have two dogs; Ellie May, a Black Lab/Border Collie Mix, and Tucker, a Golden Retriever/Bloodhoud Mix.
