Sherman is staff with a dedicated team of teachers. On average our teachers have 14 years of experience and nearly 40 percent have earned an advanced degree.

Sherman is thrilled to be the home of the Nampa School District elementary teacher of the year Mary Dowski.

Mary Dowski is a counselor and teaches gifted and talented students at Sherman Elementary School. Dowski has worked at the school for more than four years. She earned her bachelor’s at Buffalo State College in New York and her master’s degree from Northwest Nazarene University.
