Our Story
Park Ridge Elementary School opened in 1995 as one of three
elementary schools built to accommodate growth in Nampa.
We highlight the district’s commitment to build neighborhood schools,
where children can walk or ride their bikes to school. And since opening, the
farmland around our school in northeast Nampa
has developed into residential tracts.
As our city’s population continued to grow during the past decade, Park Ridge and three
other schools became “year round” schools and more classrooms were added to our
building and others in the district.
This fall, the district opened the new Endeavor Elementary School,
which reduced our student body and allowed all our schools to operate with the
same traditional schedule.
Park Ridge is a
welcoming, caring place where students in grades K-5 master the essential skills
in preparation for a lifetime of learning. Our students also learn the building
blocks of science, social studies, citizenship, and health complimented by art,
music, and physical education in a comprehensive curriculum.
We are dedicated to the
success of all children in our school. To achieve this goal, we focus on the
individual student and tailor our instruction to meet their needs.
