With a decades-long tradition of educating students and our open college-type campus, Nampa High School stands out as a classic among a city of newer schools.

For nearly 100 years, Nampa’s youth were served by one public high school – Nampa Senior High School. The school moved to its current home at the corner of 12th Avenue Road and Lake Lowell Avenue in 1955.

Many of our original buildings are still in use, but through the years our district has invested in improving the campus. During the next three years, Nampa will undergo a $14 million renovation that will include a new classroom building and upgrades to nearly every corner of the campus.

Our instructional program focuses on the needs of students.

A student’s high school experience begins with small learning communities that create strong bonds among students and teachers, and creates a solid foundation for graduation and beyond.

Upper classmen select from a rich array of choices to help them realize their dreams for “Grade 13” or life beyond high school. Those choices include career-oriented academies, rigorous college-level courses, professional technical programs, general studies, and more. Our high school offers competitive sports and fine arts programs.

Nampa High School is home to the district’s automotive technology academy as well as the small engine program. Our students also can choose the academies and specialty programs available at our other two high schools as we transport students to those sites so they can pursue these excellence programs.
