Central Elementary School is named for its central location
in the heart of Nampa.
The area surrounding our school is well established featuring a mix of historic
buildings and homes. We incorporate the city’s downtown core, which is the
target of a major renovation and revitalization effort.
Our school is located off of 12th
Avenue Road, tucked between Home Federal Savings
and Loan and 16th
Avenue. Our district was able to acquire homes
surrounding our school, so we have a large playground space with mature trees
that is often the location of informal community gatherings and soccer games.
Our district has organized
our schools into three clusters to allow for schools to better serve students
and their parents.
Central is part of the
Nampa High cluster of schools which means most of our students go on to West Middle School
and Nampa High School. Other elementary schools in
our cluster include Centennial, Franklin Roosevelt, and Willow Creek.
