BSU Alumni Legacy Scholarship available -- The Alumni Legacy Scholarship is a four-year, renewable scholarship available to the relative of a Boise State alumna or alumnus. Scholarship amount is equal to in-state fees during the fall and spring semesters. It was established by the Boise State Alumni Association in 2004 to celebrate family traditions of attending Boise State University. The Alumni Legacy Scholarship encourages a family tradition of attending Boise State University and helps to recruit the best and brightest students. Frances Crawford Marvin American Indian Scholarship – Deadline: Feb 1

A candidate for this scholarship must be enrolled full-time at a two-year or four-year college/university and must be Native American. Proof of American Indian blood is required by letter or proof papers. Students must demonstrate financial need, academic achievement, and have a 3.0 GPA or higher.  See counselor for more information.

Society of Women Engineers Scholarship Program – Deadline March 1st, 2009 ($2000)

Scholarship awarded to young women in Idaho who are entering their first year in engineering or a related field at an ABET accredited university.   .Download application

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Roger C. Sathre Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of Roger C. Sathre, a vocational education teacher and administrator.  The Scholarship recognizes and encourages outstanding Idaho students pursuing first certificates or degrees in professional-technical education or professional-technical teacher education at Idaho schools.  To be eligible for consideration, an applicant must 1) be a resident of Idaho; 2) must have graduated (graduating seniors included) from an accredited public or private Idaho high school; 3) must have maintained at least a 2.5 grade point average or better during the previous two years of school at a secondary or postsecondary institution; 4) must enroll as a full-time student, as defined by the school, in a professional-technical or professional-technical teacher education program at an accredited college or university in Idaho; and, 5) must pursue an undergraduate course of study requiring at least nine months of consecutive attendance and leading to a first degree, technical certificate or other approved award.

This is open to seniors who have shown farm, agricultural or rodeo interest.  Student needs to attend a College or University in Idaho or Eastern Oregon or Vocational Education School.  The application is in the counseling center.
