Our Professional Association: Important partners in collaboration

The NEA sponsored Kindergarten Readiness Night in 2008.The Nampa School District has a strong partnership with the Nampa Education Association (NEA). The association represents teachers, not only in negotiations for the master contract, but also in the operations of the district and on committees that help guide instruction.

 

Currently the association is led by President Misty Koeppen, who meets weekly with the district superintendent, reports monthly to the board of trustees, and represents teachers on a variety of committees.

 

Misty leads a monthly meeting of the NEA executive board and building representatives. The NEA executive committee includes:
