Our Trustees: Dedicated Volunteers Reflecting our Community

Our district is guided by a board of trustees elected by the community. Our trustees come from all walks of life and include university professors, a dentist, an irrigation official, and a train engineer. While they may come from different experiences, our trustees share a commitment to improving public education and children succeeding in Nampa’s classrooms.

Our current trustees are Chairman Dan Nogales, Vice Chairman Scott Kido (not pictured), Trustee Dale Wheeler, Trustee Daren Coon, and Trustee Ben Gall (not pictured).

The board meets at least once a month and several trustees also serve on committees. These dedicated volunteers establish policy, approve the district budget, manage tax rates, hire the superintendent, and supervise the general governance of our district. Each of the five trustees is elected to three-year terms which are staggered to allow for continuity in leadership.
