Grant Opportunities

Healthy Nampa – Healthy Youth Grant

HEALTHY NAMPA HEALTHY YOUTH is no more. It was organized in 1995 with the purpose of improving the lives of Nampa kids using funds from the Mercy Sale. Since that time, $950,000 has been granted to skateboard parks, water parks, baseball fields, the Boys & Girls Club, and many other school and community projects and activities. We feel this has had a significant impact on Nampa kids and their families.

Nampa Schools Foundation Teacher Incentive Grant

Teacher Incentive Grants are intended to help teachers improve existing courses/projects. This may take many forms: preparation of an expanded unit, development or acquisition of support materials, copying, and so forth. These grants must be consistent with the educational goals and priorities of the Nampa School District , but not feasible given current tax revenues. In general, funding will be directed toward projects which (1) facilitate student academic and skill development, (2) fund staff development and leadership programs, (3) create community support from individuals, business and civic organizations, and/or (4) demonstrate collaborative efforts of teachers working in teams to achieve school goals.

Applications are received until February 1st of each year. If your project is funded, you will receive a formal grant award letter. Awards will be made in early March. If you have not spent the funds from a previous grant, or have not filed a Final Report with NSF, you will not be considered for another grant.
