Economy: Growing retail, industrial join agricultural base

Our community’s economy includes a mix of a traditional agricultural base and an emerging retail center that serves Canyon County and southeastern Oregon.

The affordable housing in our city attracts both working class families buying their first home and commuting professionals looking for a larger home.

Our city and business leaders actively support sustainable development and launched a major effort to renew Nampa’s downtown core with construction of a new library and public safety building scheduled to open in the next few years.
